ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENT – Q3 2023
Eimskip has published its environmental report for the third quarter of 2023.
Total emission has decreased by 5% compared to quarter 3 in 2022. Scope 1 emission has decreased by 5% in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the same period of last year.
The emission in scope 2 has increased due to more use of electricity in our terminals due to reefer containers. Scope 3 has increased but the Company has an overview of waste in Iceland and most of the business flights for Eimskip Iceland and Norway.
