Eimskip Norway

Eimskip Norway, as part of the international shipping company Eimskip Group, was established in Tromsø in 1996, offering transport of reefer goods in reefer vessels between Norway, Iceland, and USA. In 1999, Giske Shipping in Ålesund was acquired, expanding the service offering to worldwide forwarding of frozen fish. In 2003, its own office established in Fredrikstad, mainly in connection with the calls of vessels destined to Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland, Canada, and USA. In 2004, further expansion with the acquisition of CTG (Coldstore & Transport Group) in Sortland. 

Eimskip Norway offers service between Norway and the Continent, with possibilities for further transport world-wide. There are several vessels being operated along the Norwegian coast, which can carry frozen, chilled and dry cargo in holds and containers and project cargo on decks. Additionally, extra tonnage is regularly chartered in to serve the customers for different needs. Orange Line and Red Line via Fredrikstad offer connections to the other Lines of the group.
